This refillable notebook is made in France at an old tannery using a tanning process that is done without using chemically produced chrome. The color of the notebook is "Havana" named after the color of Cuban cigar paper. The cover is durable and made from the toughest leather which does a great job at protecting the pages from daily activities. It is held together with strong lightweight rivets that are easily removed to replace the paper of your choice. The interior pages are made of 100% undyed paper from the pulp of virgin fibers of maritime pine. This paper is not made from recycled paper but the discarded material from mills and tree trimmings.
